Privacy principles for the Hooper rebuild
meVSreps is being rebuilt around minimal data retention. For the Hooper City MVP, the platform is intended to verify residency, assign a district, and prevent duplicate voting without storing more personal information than necessary.
The current target model is to store account information, district assignment, verification status, timestamps, and hashed identifiers used for anti-duplicate controls. Raw verification materials should be deleted or tightly restricted after review unless a retention need is clearly documented.
This page is an MVP placeholder and must be revised before public launch to match the actual verification workflow, data retention window, storage vendors, and administrator access model in use at that time.
